I wish you all a great 2009 full of poker sucess! Im really sorry for this lack of posts but the Christmas season was extremely active and busy and something add to be hold back :)

2008 is gone and its time to look back for a quick review and start preparing 2009.

Everything started in April 2008 as an idea to share the money I would get for refering a friend on pokerstrategy. They give up to $150 for anyone who register on their site to play poker online for free and at the same time they offer up to $100 to anyone who refers a friend (Tell a friend - TAF) to register at pokerstrategy.com. Combining both I decided to give 50% of the TAF to all that register using my link as explained above in my quick step by step guide. This is definatly the best poker promotion to get free money to play poker online and a perfect add on to the current pokerstrategy.com promotion.

I then started measuring some of the results of my initiative and the 1 I like most is of course the amount of free money that has been already released because of my initiative.
The final results for 2008 is an impressive $15,440.00! Here are the updated statistics:



I have then decided to create an additional incentive and for the top 10 players who reach out to the 5000 strategypoints mark I give back the 100% of the pokerstrategy TAF promotion so they get a total of $250. 2008 was of course a year of tests and some of my initiatives were not so sucessful specially because I didnt get enough traction from my registered friends, 1 example of that was the "10000 hands competition" and the "$200 Freeroll tournament". I still think people dont believe this works and there is also a problem of trust. I hope that during 2009 I can try those ideas and other but with more people active and able to participate.

I have to pleasure to annouce that today we have passed the $10000 mark more precisely with my blog and the tuktuk poker model we have released $10170 - free money to play poker online across multiple countries:

When I started this back in April - 8 months ago - I never thought that it could get to where we are today so I fell proud of myself and of course I have to say thank you to you all who believed in me to register on pokerstrategy using my blog and my concept.

Update of all the initiatives!

Ive been out last week and know its time for a quick update on all the diferent initiatives Im promoting on my blog.

First an update on the 10000 hands competition - the last day to present your hands is on the 8th of October. So far I havent received any results but I do have 12 friends who registered during the period Ive been promoting this competition. Im looking forward to receive your results.

In terms of money released based on my concept of giving back the "Tell a Friend" money (the tuktuk poker model) we continue to increase the amount of free poker money and we have reached the $8510. Please consider the latest statistics:

Its is clear that not all will have the knowledge and skills to get to the 5000 StrategyPoints. This mark is, in my opinion to high and I have already approached pokerstrategy to try to break it down. If that works that means that you would get the money from me earlier. When looking back to May when I started this blog and seeing at I have achieved already makes me want more. I have so many ideas in my head but not so much time to dedicate to this. As the weeks pass by more and more friends, that have join me in this quest for release free poker money, are starting to receive their money back from me. I just would like to leave here a few more examples of payments I did so that there are no doubts that I do pay you:

Im back from a perfect vacations in a beautiful place - Croatia!

I was pleaseantly surprised to see that we have now found the 1st place of the competition we are running - The first 3 players to reach 5000 StrategyPoints get the full referal money back = $250!

His nickname is "samiow" and he registered as my friend on pokerstrategy on the 18th of May. 7 weeks after we manage to reach the 5000 StrategyPoints mark and therefore we will get the full referal money back, 100$, on top of the 150$ that pokerstrategy offers.

After 1 month of starting up with this new idea I decided to create a top 10 promotion with the ranking of my friends in terms of pokerstrategy points.
The idea is to start a small competition to see who will be the first to make the 5000 strategypoints and get the full 200$ back.
The first 3 to reach that goal will have a extra 50$ - basically receiving the full referral amount back - and getting a total of 250$.

I count now 37 friends registered but only 13 have passed the quiz. I would like to remind you that:

1 - If you fail the poker quiz you will have to wait 24 hours to repeat it
2 - You have 1 hour to do the poker quiz and you can go and look for the answers while you do it but I strongly suggest you read the articles before

I have reached the 13 friends mark today after a lot of effort promoting this new idea.

In general people do not receive the message as truthful or they just thing is another scam or spam message. It is not! I will pay back the refer-a-friend money.

I would like to ask my registered friends if they allow me to publish their usernames. If possible send me a quick email or comment with your approval. The reason Im asking is for others to see that I am not lying and if they want they can always look for your usernames at the tables and ask if this is true.
